2. Is it possible to obtain necessary easements for utilities and drainage?  Contact: Your Attorney or Your Neighbor

3. Always determine location of underground utilities before digging! May have to contact the utilities individually.

 4. If property is in a recorded subdivision, are there restrictive covenants?  Contact: Knox County Engineer /Recorder and Your Attorney

5. Does the lot have a clear title?  Are there mineral rights involved?  Contact: Knox County Recorder and Your Attorney

 6. What is the tax structure for real estate?  Millage? Property Taxes? Assessments?  Contact: Knox County Recorder and Your Attorney

7. Have you checked on water and sewer assessments?  Contact: Knox County Recorder and Engineer

8. Is the roadway fronting property public or private?  (If private, know your responsibilities!)  Contact: Knox County Engineer
