Each year the district provides free pine tree seedlings to students in the 4th grades in Knox County. If you have a class in Knox County who is interested in this program, please contact Katie Hux your request by February 26, 2010. The tree seedlings arrive in April and are delivered. The SWCD staff will be provide a classroom presentation on "the value of natural resources and how to plant the tree" as part of the distribution.
