The Envirothon is a competitive
outdoor event for high school students in grades 9-12 and is sponsored by the Ohio Federation of Soil and Water
Conservation Districts. The contest is
designed to test students' knowledge of
Ohio's natural resources in five categories: soils, forestry, wildlife, aquatics
and environmental issues.
All area high schools are encouraged to participate in this
competition. Each participating school is permitted to have a maximum of two
teams. Teams should consist of a minimum of three students to a maximum of five
students per team.
