Knox SWCD Annual Meeting - (early December) - Each year the district hosts an annual meeting to highlight the year's accomplishments.  The meeting offers a nice setting for food, fellowship and fun.  The 2009 meeting will be held on December 2 at the Knox County Career Center Dining Hall.  The banquet recognizes the recipients of the Lester Bennett Award, Outstanding Cooperator Award, Educator the Year Award, Conservation Trip Award and the local FFA Chapter Awards.  The meeting also features a Silent Auction in which the proceeds support the Knox SWCD Agricultural Scholarship.
