Annual Meeting

Knox SWCD Annual Meeting - (early December) - Each year the district hosts an annual meeting to highlight the year's accomplishments. The meeting offers a nice setting for food, fellowship and fun. The 2011 meeting will be held on December 8th at the Knox County Career Center Dining Hall. An election of one supervisor will take place with the voting polls opening up at 6:15 p.m. and the meal served at 7:00 p.m. The banquet recognizes the recipients of the Lester Bennett Award, Outstanding Cooperator Award, Educator the Year Award, Conservation Trip Award and the local FFA Chapter Awards. The meeting also features a Silent Auction in which the proceeds support the Knox SWCD Agricultural Scholarship. This year's menu features roast pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade noodles, California blend vegetables, rolls and assorted fruit pies. The cost of the meal is $10.00 per person. You may order your tickets through the mail or online through a credit card.
