Farmer Breakfasts to Begin in 2012

The first monthly farmer breakfast will begin TUESDAY JANUARY 17 at 8:00 a.m. at South Side Diner in Mt. Vernon. Please join us to discuss timely farm topics, question and answer session, and general discussion. This month’s speaker will be Bill Haddad of Valent Chemical Company. He will be discussing weed control and the recent development of Mare’s Tail.  Breakfast will be ordered off the menu and at your expense. Monthly meetings will be held on the 3^rd Tuesday of the month at 8 a.m. representatives from Knox FSA, NRCS, Soil and Water and OSU-Extension will be present.
