Repellent-This item was developed in Sweden in 1991 to protect tree
plantations being decimated by deer, rabbits and moose while also
meeting strict environmental laws. This blood meal base powder is made from
100% natural ingredients (dried blood of porcine and/or bovine; vegetable
oil and water). It is equally effective not only to protect tree
seedlings
but also flowers, fruit trees, gardens, ornamental shrubs, conifer and
broadleaf plants. This repellent has been proven effective with many
Knox County residents as we continue to offer the product. The 1 lb.
concentrate treats approximately 200-300 plants 1 ft. high and sells for
$20.50 per box and also available is the 3lb granular shaker bag which

Marking Flags - The flags are a wire staff vinyl 4"x5" flag, 30" tall. The flags come in fluorescent orange and pink and are sold in bundles of 100. They sell for $8.50 per bundle.

2 10' John Deere 1590 Grain Drills - Drills are rented through scheduling with the SWCD office. The drills rent for $10.00 per acre. Contact the SWCD office at 393-6724 to schedule the use of the drill.
Truax Drill - This drill is leased through the local Pheasants Forever Chapter for Grass Seedings for WIldlife Habitat. It also rents for $10.00 per acre. Contact the SWCD office at 393-6724 to schedule the use of the drill.
